Who Do You Make Money For?

This is a good question and one you should seriously consider. Now, allow me to tell you a sad, sad story. At this very moment, there are multitudes of individuals who earn a great deal of money yearly. However, they never get to see much of their children while they are awake. This is what is sadly known as “Heads in Beds”. The problem is that the only time they see their children is while they are sleeping as the parent leaves early in the mornings for work. Then late at night when getting home from work, their children are back in bed asleep for the night. These people make money to spend, lots of it, but they have no time to spend it. Even so, there are many more individuals who have a lot of free time and no money to spend. Enjoying free time is not so easy when you have no money.

Would you agree that the ideal situation is being able to make money of highly paid individual with the free time of those who are unemployed? Think about this, it would be the ideal situation. You are able to do what you want to do, when you want to do it, and there is no boss telling you what you can or cannot do. While working, you are not really working for your boss, are you? The reason you are working is to make money and sustain your family and lifestyle. What if you got paid anyway, whether you show up for work or not, would you even clock in? Of course not, nobody would! If you could make money at will whether you work or not, you could take your family on vacations and never have to worry about the length of time your boss will allow you to be gone. It is ridiculous when you think about it. You cherish the time spent with your family on vacation, but you can only enjoy this experience as long as your boss allows you to do it. It’s a lot like being in school. You go out to play when the teacher says you can, then you run back inside when the bell rings, so you can get back to work.

You make money for your family

Do you think it is time to remember just who it is you are really working for? Do you really work for your boss,  or do you work to make money for your family? Do you make money for your family, so they can enjoy life, while living in a nice home, driving a nice car, eating great foods and wearing good clothes as well as the ability to pack up the family and go on a nice vacation on a whim?  It is THEM you are working for, right? Sure, you may love your job and that is perfectly fine. You can love your job until you can no longer love it.
However, at the end of the day, it is not about HOW you provide for your family. If you can make money in such a way that offers you so much more freedom and flexibility, will you take it?

If you dream big you are more likely to get what you desire than not dreaming at all or dreaming too small. The people who dream big usually also live big! They have the nice houses, the fancy cars, and get to take the exotic trips.

Yea I know you are saying that you just can’t see yourself  having all those things. However, if you just picture having them one day, and slowly begin working towards that goal your chances of joining the “big dreamers” will increase exponentially.  In fact before you know it, you will be living big and enjoying every minute of it!
All successful businesses started out small at one point. They did not just open up and hit the big time on the first day. They grew little by little until they were profitable. You can do this too.

The loftier your dreams,  the harder you will work to achieve them. But always remember to have unwavering confidence and belief in your dreams and desires. Always go after them with a positive mindset, as if they were already a reality. This will get you further than starting to over think things and wonder if you have aimed too high.

There is nothing at all wrong with aiming high. You need to say to yourself that you can achieve your dreams by just staying at it. Even the most successful entrepreneurs on the Internet have to keep plugging away to become successful network marketers. The ones that dream big make their dreams come true.

People who have the big desires for their lives are the innovative people in the world. They live to think up new ways of doing things or gadgets to do these things with. Our world would be a very different place today if it were not for the  “big dreamers” and their visions of a brighter future.

Some dreams take decades to come about while others just a few months or years. Sometimes entire companies are needed to bring a big idea to life and make it successful. Other times one lone person with limited resources gives birth to a winner.

Knowing certain techniques for managing time will help you accomplish more throughout your day. If you are disorganized in  carrying out your duties throughout the day, chances are you are not managing your time wisely. If you are finishing your duties in an orderly fashion then you probably already have some time management skills.  Let’s look at some techniques for managing your time to see what improvements you can make.

The first thing you need to do is to get organized. If you need some help to get this done, try making a list each day  to help keep you on track.  Prioritize your list each day according to things you need to get done first.

Do not be a procrastinator! You should not put  things off to the afternoon that can be done in the morning or even worse, say you will do them tomorrow. Work smartly and get done what you can that day as efficiently as possible.

It’s critical to be able to make consistent solid decisions on the matters at hand. Decide what needs to be done and act on that decision. To consistently make the correct decisions though you have to thoroughly examine the problem at hand. The better you understand the problem the easier it will be to solve.

Have a plan, this makes for good time management. This is like being organized. You may have to write the plan down so you can refer to it during the day or week you are going through.

If you are in a position of authority learn how to delegate the tasks that you can. This will allow you to spend time on only the tasks that demand your special attention. You will get much more done during the day this way. When a whole team works on the tasks at hand it is amazing how much easier the workload is. This is also one of the secrets to success.

Make sure to keep your mental and physical energy up for the tasks of the day. You cannot think as efficiently when you are physically out of energy. So make sure to get enough rest and proper nourishment. This will help you think more effectively on how to manage your time.

Being able to cope with stress throughout your day is extremely important. Even if you have to seek out better methods of handling these stresses such as yoga or other relaxation techniques. When you are calm you can think more clearly on how to handle important projects that carry more stress to them than the day-to-day work you do. It can also help you keep a clear head to think about what you need to do next.

So to get more done during the day, look into time management techniques. They will help you be a lot more productive. You will clear your work more from day to day and leave work not nearly as frustrated. Who knows you may even get that promotion you have been looking for.

Advertising through social media is very common currently and one of the most effective ways to do so is to advertise with a Facebook profile. Facebook is one of the many social networking sites that has popped up in recent years and allows family members, friends, associates, groups, and businesses to stay connected with each other. It has an easy to use system making it easy to find anyone or anything on the site and even corporations can have their own page.

A corporate Facebook profile wouldn’t look much different than that of the everyday person. Status updates, photos, videos, and messages are posted in the same method with no mass advertising. Social media such as small videos and pictures can be taken of new products, business openings, or events. These can be posted easily and within a few minutes of uploading are available for everyone to see.

For example, say there is a company called Bob’s Computer Store. Bob runs a small business so advertising on social sites is the best way for him to reach potential customers. Bob makes a Facebook profile for his business, links it to his personal profile allowing his friends or family to see it, and then begins posting updates. A few pictures of his store or a video of offered services are posted which the community in general will see. If they are interested they will then take a look at his store.

You also have to keep in mind that his friends or family will tell their friends or family about his store and word of mouth quickly spreads through the Facebook community. While making a Facebook profile for your business alone isn’t guaranteed to get customers for your business, there are a few things you can do to help. Choosing the right page design and posting the correct types of content can boost your popularity, the businesses attractiveness, and give an aura of professionalism.

Proper content is media that fits within peoples attention spans. This isn’t to belittle people but it’s a fact of life that society is moving towards a faster paced &
“say what you mean quickly” attitude. This means that no one is going to look at your Facebook profile if you are posting images and videos that drag on, have no point, or fail to convey the message directly enough.

Fortunately Bob is just an imaginary character and doesn’t have to worry about this. Unfortunately you are not and your business needs every edge possible to survive especially with the current economy. So how do you figure out the best way to get your message to people quickly and effectively? Well if you’re a large corporation chances are you’ve done research into this subject before undertaking the endeavor in the first place.

However if you’re a small business you have fewer resources and probably don’t have much in the way of a research department. For those that find themselves in this situation you should run your proposed content by your friends, colleagues, neighbors, and people you find online to see if it holds peoples attention.

Using a Facebook profile and advertising with social media is something the modern world is struggling to come to terms with. While the private sector has embraced the idea fully the corporate sector has lagged behind. It’s important to remember that social networking websites are everywhere and are the new advertising battleground. If you want to be successful you need to adapt with the people and focus your advertising efforts where they spend the majority of their time online.

Ok, you just joined a fantastic Network Marketing company, you’re all fired up and ready to make your first million! You’ve spent some time getting up to speed on the product,  read through the marketing literature, taken a look at the promotional tools, and set up your replicated web site. You’ve got your lead capture funnel in place, your auto responder locked and loaded, and maybe even have your own domain name. You’ve got all you bases covered right?  Not so fast my friend!  Did you even think about reading your companies terms and conditions agreement? You remember don’t you, that little “I accept” box you clicked when you signed up for your distributorship? That was a legally binding click, you know. The bottom line is that terms and conditions agreements are virtually always going to be in favor of the company, there’s not much you can do about that. You just need to be aware of what your getting yourself into before putting your blood sweat and tears into building a business only to have the rug pulled out from under you on a moments notice. I found a very timely video on Facebook recently that puts the issue in perspective, in a light hearted way, but this is a very serious subject worthy of your attention.

My Story Part 2

In part 1 I chronicled the events of March 17th, the day that iLearning Global announced the closure of it’s network marketing sales force. Picking up where I left off….

On the afternoon of March 17th, I received an panicked email message from David Wood, who was my direct sponsor in iLearning Global. In the email blast sent out to his entire list he urged his supporters to attend a webinar, set to begin in only 30 minutes, and listen to what he had to say. I’ve been conditioned not to put too much credence in messages like this because more often than not, it’s purely sales hype. But in this case this could not be further from the truth.

When the webinar began David was noticeably shaken.  You could hear it in his voice. He began by describing the phone call he received from iLearning corporate just a couple of hours earlier, and relayed his attempt to dissuade the company from executing their new plan. But while David was on the phone with the company representative, the official email notification went out. It was too late. Then David proceeded to let everyone know of his decision to switch company affiliations from iLG to The Numis Network. This seemed unbelievable at first in light of Davids recent rants and critcal review of Numis. But it began to make sense  after listening to the explanation of how he had recently mended fences with Numis and taken the critical review down off of his blog only a few days before the iLG  betrayal. I’m not trying to be overly dramatic here for editorial effect, it was a betrayal in the classic sense. At this point David requested that we believe in him, have faith in his decision, which he later explained was purely a business decision, and join him in building a new team built around the Numis Network. At first I was unsure of whether or not I wanted to be a part of this but Cedric Harris took over the webinar and gave a presentation of The Numis Network that was very logical and compelling. So, I made a quick business decision and decided to join David, Cedric, and the rest of the Numis Organization and begin once more to build a Network Marketing Business.

Will my team follow me? Some will , some won’t. Not everyone has the will, or the resources  to make a snap decision of this nature. But I’m sure most everyone will come around sooner or later. As of today, March 18th approximately 60 people have put their faith in David and followed him to Numis.  I honestly believe that David will be just as successful with Numis as he was with iLearning Global, maybe even more so. I hope that some of that success rubs off on me, hence my decision to follow.

It’s extremely unfortunate when events like this occur. I’m sure there are some of you out there who are gleefully telling everyone within earshot, ” I told you so”! Just last weekend I saw a couple of comments from some industry pundits who predicted the demise of iLearning Global. At the time I didn’t put much stock into what they were saying, but unfortunately this time the pundits were correct. So David will be very busy the next few days working to keep the momentum alive that he has built over the past 6 months. PeopleString is a social website that, in addition to it’s social aspects, is an incentive-based opportunity that helps it’s members earn cash daily. The company claims that this type of program has never been tried before, and expects it to be a smashing success.

One outstanding, but little understood benefit of membership is the state of the art email system which provides email tracking, self destruct email, video email, and last but not least, the ability to edit an email even after it has been delivered, very cool stuff indeed.

PeopleString has integrated with twitter and facebook, which will serve to drive traffic between each one of them, and become  a win-win situation for everyone involved.   You can bet that more than one fortune 500 media company has fixed their eyes on PeopleString, and they’re taking notes on its rapid growth and popularity.

For now the jury is out on the true scope of the opportunity, but at the current rate of growth it seems that PeopleString has a bright future!
