Are You Safe and Secure or a Wage Slave?

Do you realize that most individuals think that having a job is a safe and secure financial option for themselves and their families? Unfortunately, this thinking is what I like to call the illusion of a “wage slave” mentality. Since childhood, we are trained to do well in school, while making good grades. We are also programmed to be a wage slave by  getting what we believe will be a safe and secure job. If we can do all this, then we should have a successful life. However, this is no longer possible for many individuals. This is really a deep-seeded myth that actually TRAPS people everyday into the role of a wage slave even if they do have a high earning and respectable job. From our childhood, we are conditioned to be a wage slave. We are told how to work for others and how to write a resume that will help land us a great job.

Avoid joining the ranks of the Wage Slave

Considering the short term perspective, relying on a traditional 8 to 5  job may be a safer alternative than trying to start up your own business or joining a Network Marketing organization,  but only if you are looking for a temporary flow of stable income. However,as a long term wealth building strategy, getting a job only succeeds in adding you to the ranks of the wage slave.  If you need to be convinced of this truth simply talk to any of the millions of American factory workers whose jobs have been lost to outsourcing to foreign nations.
Is having your own Network Marketing business any safer than having a job? Sure it is!

No, you do not. You can test this if you like, by walking up to the boss, and asking him or her for a 20% pay raise and then watch what happens. More than likely your boss will laugh at you.

Most definitely, since you are the one who sets the limits. When you want to generate more cash, you can simply go out there and make it your own. You are the only person you need permission from to do so.

3.     As a wage slave employee, do you have complete control of your financial future?

No, not at all. For instance, what if you are fired tomorrow. It can happen what with any unforeseen circumstances, the economy in the state it is in now or even mass layoffs. As a wage slave employee, you are not immune to getting the ax. Corporations are tightening their belts as you read this information. The wisest and most secure thing you can do is use your skills, talents, and abilities to create your own success.

4.    As  a network marketer, can you control your financial future?

Sure, you can, since how much you can earn is no one’s business but your very own. If you need a pay raise, you only need your own permission to make it so.
It is all about control. You determine who holds the strings to your paycheck. Holding the strings yourself, means you do not have to trust that you may not lose your job as a wage slave employee.  As a network marketer, you will work to build something substantial, you will never get a layoff notice from your self and the amount of money you can make is all up to you and your choices.

Knowing certain techniques for managing time will help you accomplish more throughout your day. If you are disorganized in  carrying out your duties throughout the day, chances are you are not managing your time wisely. If you are finishing your duties in an orderly fashion then you probably already have some time management skills.  Let’s look at some techniques for managing your time to see what improvements you can make.

The first thing you need to do is to get organized. If you need some help to get this done, try making a list each day  to help keep you on track.  Prioritize your list each day according to things you need to get done first.

Do not be a procrastinator! You should not put  things off to the afternoon that can be done in the morning or even worse, say you will do them tomorrow. Work smartly and get done what you can that day as efficiently as possible.

It’s critical to be able to make consistent solid decisions on the matters at hand. Decide what needs to be done and act on that decision. To consistently make the correct decisions though you have to thoroughly examine the problem at hand. The better you understand the problem the easier it will be to solve.

Have a plan, this makes for good time management. This is like being organized. You may have to write the plan down so you can refer to it during the day or week you are going through.

If you are in a position of authority learn how to delegate the tasks that you can. This will allow you to spend time on only the tasks that demand your special attention. You will get much more done during the day this way. When a whole team works on the tasks at hand it is amazing how much easier the workload is. This is also one of the secrets to success.

Make sure to keep your mental and physical energy up for the tasks of the day. You cannot think as efficiently when you are physically out of energy. So make sure to get enough rest and proper nourishment. This will help you think more effectively on how to manage your time.

Being able to cope with stress throughout your day is extremely important. Even if you have to seek out better methods of handling these stresses such as yoga or other relaxation techniques. When you are calm you can think more clearly on how to handle important projects that carry more stress to them than the day-to-day work you do. It can also help you keep a clear head to think about what you need to do next.

So to get more done during the day, look into time management techniques. They will help you be a lot more productive. You will clear your work more from day to day and leave work not nearly as frustrated. Who knows you may even get that promotion you have been looking for.

Building a large Network Marketing team and a large Twitter following are two rather similar pursuits. In both pursuits it’s necessary to build a large group of followers who find you interesting and/or worthy of their trust. So How Do You Find a Targeted Audience on Twitter?

1. Use search.twitter.com: Twitter has their own search engine for finding the latest ‘Tweets’ on whatever keyword you enter. The Twitter search engine is great if you want to see what people are saying RIGHT NOW about a particular topic. Just type in MLM or DEBT or HATE MY BOSS or HATE MY JOB, or anything related to your area of interest, and see who wrote what in the last few seconds. This is an excellent tool for finding people who are perfect for your business at the precise moment they are in a mood to take some kind of action.

2. The Followers of Big Names In Your Niche: One of the great things about Twitter’s simplicity is the ease at which you can see who is following who, and how popular someone is. This means you can find a very popular person who reaches your target market (be it Mike Dillard for your recruiting, or a “health nut” for selling your products, etc) and effectively “steal” their followers! You simply click to see who is following them (i.e. who finds them interesting) and add them one by one. You can build your own audience by cleverly finding relevant people using search.twitter.com and following their followers using this method. Success!

3. Google: We couldn’t possibly talk about searching online without mentioning Google, the King of Search. Google is very focused on indexing Twitter in its database, with Google monitoring so much of the site on a regular basis that your posts show up in the Google index often within a matter of hours. Using Google to find people on Twitter is slightly different than using search.twitter.com because Google won’t just show you the most recent results. Google will show you what it thinks are the most important mentions of your keyword or phrase in the entire “Twitterverse”. You can search just twitter.com using Google by entering in your search term like this – site:twitter.com keywords

4. Let Them Find You: It is very important that you present yourself in a way that entices others to want to know more about you. Use relevant keywords in your posts to show up in the Twitter search results, but don’t forget that your audience are not search robots. You need to be attractive to the people you are trying to attract. You want them to see your profile and think “This person looks interesting!”

5. Advance tools: An entire series of articles could be written on the advanced tools available for serious Twitter users.I’ll focus on one particular tool that I found extremely useful called “TweetAdder 2010”. TweetAdder 2010 is an advanced tool that automates the time consuming process of tracking down and establishing a “following” with a highly targeted group of Twitter users. The process is driven from a control panel style user interface that allows you to identify a targeted group of users by entering a keyword based on profile data, tweet text,followers of a particular Twitter user, or users who are followed by a particular Twitter user. The search will present a list of users based on the chosen keyword parameters, and this is the cool part. You can have the tool automatically add the entire group of users into your “follow” list all in the space of just a few moments! I’ll follow up this article with an in depth review of the tool but I can tell you now that this is a “MUST HAVE” tool for all serious Twitter marketers. The delivery of electronic mail has progressed light years since the dawn of personal messaging in the late 80′s and the early 90′s. In those days we communicated through systems such as Fidonet, Usenet, and a plethora of small neighborhood electronic bbs systems. The big bbs systems such as Compuserve, Earthlink and others were also extremely popular, but now have all come and gone. The internet brought about a more refined vehicle for real time delivery of personal messages, and brought  what we now refer to as email into the mainstream. All though the mode of delivery has evolved over the years, the features of the email message itself hasn’t really changed that much. We write a message,  include an attachment or two, then hit send to deliver. It’s a very efficient and popular way to communicate in the modern world. I mean, who sits down and pens a letter anymore? As convenient and indispensable as email messaging has become, it also has a dark side  We’ll never know how many users of electronic mail have suffered from what I like to call “email remorse” It’s happened to us all at one time or another. A scathing e-mail written during a moment of passion, fired off to the recipient with no possibility of retrieval when a cooler head prevails. It’s impossible to say how many careers, friendships, and other relationships have been irreparably damaged  due to an email written and sent during a fit of anger. And how many of us have forgotten to include an important file attachment, that more often than not was the main subject of our email in the first place. Sound familiar?

In October of 2008 a new technology was released that is destined to forever change the way we think about, and use email messaging. BigString Corporation (OTCBB: BSGC) created a totally new email concept that allows users direct access to their sent email. The BigString product is an email service for both individuals and businesses that features email that is recallable, changeable and even includes a nifty self destruct feature. Email messages can be easily edited on the recipients system either before, or after the message has been opened and read. Files attached to sent messages can be edited, replaced, or removed entirely. If you wish, you can even recall the message from the recipients system using the recall feature. To add a measure of security to email messages a feature has been added to defeat the printing or forwarding of received messages. Another extremely cool feature is the “self destruct” email message. A message can be set to self destruct after a certain number of views, or after a pre-defined period of time. Any, or all of these features can be implemented without having to call in a system administrator. Each option is easily configured in the email authoring interface. So, the next time an email message vaporizes in flames on your monitor screen, or disappears from your system entirely, it’s a safe bet that the BigString email technology is at work.
